Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) (Hons.) Degree Program

Daksh Law College is the top law college in Chhatarpur (M.P.) for B.A.LL.B. It has a steady approach to governing contemporary legal issues in this developing global world. The entire process of governance thrives on public policies as it is an effective face of state and society. The development of a society in social, economic and political areas is completely dependent upon the policies formulated by the government. Accordingly, there is an evident interface between Public Policy and Law. Hence, this course of B.A.LL.B. has been planned in compliance with the developing and changing nature of socio-economic conditions of the society. This course is based on new developments in the aftermath of Globalization and Liberalization, which has resulted in the evolution of market forces. Multifaceted integrated insight is the true hallmark of this course.

The main purpose of this program is to provide a comprehensive knowledge base to the students of law. Daksh Law College offers an integrated five years undergraduate educational program of B.A.LL.B.

Eligibility:

  • The student should have passed senior secondary school examination or an examination equivalent thereto, securing not less than 45% (40% in the case of SC/ST M.P. Domicile) in aggregate.
  • The students should be appearing or have appeared for the annual examinations in March/April of the current academic year.

Note:

  • The afore-mentioned rules are subject to the guidelines issued by MCBU and Bar Council of India.
  • The College reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student in accordance with the rules and regulations.
  • Students who fail to clear the qualifying examination will not be considered eligible for admission in this course.

Duration:

The duration of the course of B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) shall be a period of Five Academic Years. Each year is divided into two semesters.

LLB (Bachelor of Laws) (3-Years) Degree Program

This programme is designed with a view to spreading legal knowledge among professionals from other disciplines in society. Its objective is to impart legal education to the students from various backgrounds and equip them to perform various roles of a legal professional, beyond the traditional role of litigation. The students will gain knowledge and develop advocacy skills which will help them in achieving their goals and objective and serving society.

Eligibility for Admission in LL.B. 3-Years Degree Program:

A student shall be eligible for admission for LL.B. (3 years) Degree Course in Law if he/she has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by State Legislature or an equivalent national institute recognized as a Deemed University or a Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalent provided that:

  1. Such student must have obtained minimum 45% marks in the aggregate in the qualifying 3-year bachelor’s degree examinations.
  2. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe or other backward classes shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 40 % marks in the said qualifying examination.

DURATION OF THE COURSE:

The course of LL.B. shall be for a period of three academic years. Each year is divided into two semesters.
